I sent a free copy of one of my regular E-Thought pieces concerning my
views on the fall of the Republic, pertinent quotes of eternal interest,
and sometimes a bit of personal, timeless philosophy and often use a wee
bit of humor and careful satire.
Well, I received a reply from "my" first district Bushie, US Rep.Paul
Ryan trying to be helpful on one personal point while ignoring the
horrific domestic, global crisis upon us.
As a minor, but important personal note I shared with E-friends and
patriots was that of a longtime-left neighbor that dislikes my dog
because of my political views. So, my beautiful, aging Siberian Husky,
Freedom, who rarely barks is being falsely accused by our Village
Control Freak from her upper window that allow her to survey the
community when she awakes at12 noon, bless her.
So, with that explanation, "my" US Rep. Paul Ryan or an anonymous aide
who has no priority list regarding the dangers to the Republic without
borders and a haven for terrorists and domestic Anti-Americans.
So, here is the opening part of this rare response to any request:
Dear Gene: ( I dislike politicians being so informal as it is a sign of
disrespect/pandering to someone you don't know but pay their salaries.)
"Thank you for recently contacting my office regarding the difficulties
you are experiencing as it relates to your neighbor' complaints ABOUT
YOUR DOG. (capitalizing is mine). I can understand your frustration with
this matter.
Gene, I wish I could assist you in addressing this matter.
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide you with the assistance you need,
as this issue is one that falls under the jurisdiction of state and
local officials, not the federal government. (note-He didn't quote the
Constitution on this matter.)"
Then, he offers to help me if I wish to fill out an enclosed "federal
privacy" form that would allow him to seek information in my behalf to
secure the safety and well-being of my aging dog, Freedom. He suggest I
read, sign the privacy form. (note- No way, am I getting the federal
bureaucracy involved in this Village matter as it might take years and
be costly without a personal grant with both myself and beloved dog,
Freedom , deceased.
As a Constitutionalist majoring in Government and American History and
a public friend of the US Constitution, under God, and a constituent
known to US Rep. Paul Ryan, what am I to think about this personal,
rather Prozac-like thought but sincere, friendly letter?
With the fall of the Republic should I tie up the DC bureaucracy with my
private interests of safety and well being for Freedom and myself, or
should I as intended pray about the matter, try to figure out a plan of
appeasement with the liberal neighbor, continue suffering in near
silence after many years in this managed neighborhood, move, vote for
someone else, laugh, tell others, sob, stop useless important
communication with D.C., sell the dog who barks once a month and is
wrongly accused for excessive nuisance by living while the neighbor
dogs laugh at their escape from their own crimes/living/2 barks a month
The neighbor can not see the mischief of the neighbor dogs who bark and
play as free pets due, within dog reason.
With open windows I have to listen to poorly played classical music
most of the year while my dog sleeps.
Dear reader, please don't ask me to call for federal help and protection
in this matter as their is a war going on, the corrupt Democrats seek
their wins and the nation to fall, borders have been stolen from the
nation, education is in ruins, Cubs are trying to rebuild in the lucky
year of the "7"s (2007), aging continues, global warming is ever
present, the Constitution has virtually been put to the shredder, we
have a President who loves to cheer lead as in Yale, but does not know
how to play sport or war, to win, taxes are higher than income as IRS
deadline nears, and so on...
So, am I to be pleased, or to weep at the letter from the global
bureaucracy, D.C. ?
Only respond if you have a real solution or sincere comment.
Freedom sleeps quietly near the computer unaware of this missive which
concerns him as he enters a new day.
Constitutionally yours,
Gene Malone -Kenosha, Wisconsin
* I suppose I should be thankful that "my" very busy Representative did
know something about the importance of state, local, citizen control all
while his place of work knows nothing about Article X of the US Bill of
Rights or the limited use of the national government by its carefully
selected areas of concern that does not include education or pet
management.
Freedom offers a muffled "woof" in approval of this sincere review as
the Republic falls.
* US Rep. Paul Ryan is pro-life, but silent on all matters of import in
his blind support of the Mexican, liberal President, GWB. Seeking power
and position dim the eyes of many real officials causing irrational
decisions where once common sense reigned-before the election/s. |
